Bibendum showcases new wineries

Bibendum launched 23 different wineries from eight different countries at its annual tasting day.

Highlights included: three Burgundy domaines, Jean Rijckaert, Jean Chauvenet and Alain Chavy; Etna winery Tenuta di Fessina; Australian producer Battle of Bosworth, and Prophet’s Rock from Central Otago in New Zealand.

Bibendum managing director Michael Saunders said: “We are always looking to improve and refresh our portfolio with excellent new producers, and I am very excited by the new arrivals.

“This demonstrates our belief that, despite the economic climate, we can sell more and better wine to all channels of the UK trade.”
The Just Add... Bibendum tasting was held at the Brewery in east London on 25 January.
