John Smith's is now Britain's biggest selling ale brand, although with significant quantities sold in keg, chilled and nitrokeg versions, you have to work hard to find the cask version outside its heartland.
The No Nonsense bitter is the biggest commercial sponsor of jump and flat racing in the UK, including the Grand National at Aintree and the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter.
