Britvic shares open on stock market

Britvic began life today as a listed company with shares opening at 230p, valuing the group at £810m.

 

The group has a 22 per cent share of the UK soft drinks market, behind Coca-Cola on 29 per cent.

 

Following the float Britvic has plans to become a global player, according to chairman Gerald Corbett.
