Brulines has appointed Bill Knowles as managing director of its gaming machine management interests, which include Machine Insite and Coin-Metrics.

Knowles has 25 years of experience in the industry including 19 years with Punch Taverns and Allied Domecq.

"The knowledge and experience he has gained within the pub and machine sectors will prove invaluable as we continue to develop market leading machine management information and reporting tools," said Brulines chief executive James Dickson.

"The machine industry faces significant challenges, and we look forward to working with the key stakeholders to develop our service and improve operational efficiency and customer profitability."

In addition, Mark Bowen has been appointed account manager for the south of England Coin Metrics team.

Bowen previously worked for Whitbread and Punch Taverns, where he was responsible for machine management and development.

He will be responsible for the group's real time machine monitoring systems and data management services.
