ETM Group sees turnover top £12m mark for first time

ETM Group, the London-based gastropub operator, saw turnover for the year to 29 February 2012 top the £12m mark for the first time, saying it was satisfied with its performance given the “continued testing economic conditions”.

The 10-strong group, led by Tom and Ed Martin, saw turnover climb from £10.4m to £12.3m during the year, while pre-tax profit fell from £510,000 to £387,500. Operating profit fell from £692,000 to £551,400.

The company opened the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms on the site of the former Whitbread brewery during the year and subsequently opened the Jugged Hare on the adjacent unit.
