Hardys & Hansons (H&H) could be the next family-owned brewer to succumb to a bid, according to a London stockbroker.

In a research document on acquisition activity in the leisure sector, broker KBC Peel Hunt suggested the Nottingham-based brewer could attract interest from the likes of Greene King or Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries.

KBC cited H&H's recent profit warning, the group's move to AIM and the recent management reshuffle which saw Jonathan Webster take over the reins of the company from Tim Bonham.
