InnDeeD Group, the company headed up by Peter Brook, has purchased 12 pubs from Pub People Company.

The deal will see Pub People Company become a tenant of InnDeeD Group in each of thevenues.

Peter Brook, chief executive of InnDeeD Grou, said: "We are delighted to acquire these 12 pubs from Pub People Company which are all very good quality".

"The fact that Pub People Company will continue to run the pubs means that we have a strong and professional tenant for each of the acquired pubs. We remain very keen to make further acquisitions".

InDeeD was formed in October 2006 with the aim of becoming a major participant in the tenanted pub sector and is backed by venture capitalist Dawnay Day Principal Investments.
