Loungers, the privately-owned group bar led by Alex Reilley, has secured a further two sites for its Cosy Club format in Cardiff and Salisbury, in Wiltshire.

The 21-strong group, which also operates the Lounge concept, has exchanged contracts on a 7,300sq ft Cosy Club unit in St David’s 2 shopping centre in Cardiff.

The site, the group’s biggest unit to date, is almost exclusively at first-floor level (6,700sq ft).
Loungers, which currently operates three Cosy Clubs in Bath, Stamford and Taunton, Somerset, expects to open the venue this autumn.

The group has also obtained planning consent and exchanged contracts on a 6,000sq ft Cosy Club site in Salisbury, in a Grade II-Listed former arts college on
New Street.

An opening is scheduled for late summer.
