Marston’s has placed another 30 pubs on the market with Fleurets.

The pubs, based across the Midlands and northern England, range in price from £145,000 to £395,000, with 10 marketed for offers invited. All are freeholds except two long leaseholds.

The pubs are part of Marstons’ disposal programme highlighted at its full-year results in November, when the company said it anticipated that disposal proceeds would be around £30m-£40m per year for the next few years. Marston’s recently placed 16 pubs on the market with CBRE and 50 with Christie+Co.

Separately, Marston’s is in the process of making 35 head-office redundancies. It is understood they are across several departments, mostly in back office roles.

Marston’s, which employs around 13,000 people, expects to add around 1,200 jobs per year as it looks to open 20 to 25 new build pubs per annum.
