Spirit Pub Company has strengthened the management team of its c.550-strong leased division, appointing Stephen Worrall as its new head of commercial.

Worrall, who spent five years at Greene King, including stints as commercial and operations director, joins Spirit as Chris Welham, another ex-operations director at Greene King, officially takes up his role as MD of its leased division.

Worrall left Greene King in July 2010 to set up his own consultancy business under the Spinnaker name.
