Nightclub company Tokyo Industries is to open a new nightclub in Manchester, in partnership with Peter Hook.

Nightclub company Tokyo Industries is to open a new nightclub in Manchester, in partnership with former New Order and Joy Division bass player Peter Hook.

 

The company has converted Factory Records' central Manchester offices into a venue called the Factory.

 

Tokyo Industries already operates 14 venues across the UK, including the award-winning Digital in Newcastle and Brighton, and the Tokyo Mansion Party venues.

 

Tokyo Industries managing director Aaron Mellor is a long-time Factory Records aficionado; he began his club career on the Haçienda dance floor and later was a DJ at Stonelove at the Haçienda in the 1990s.
