Waverley TBS moves into new site after fire

Five and a half months after an explosion and subsequent fire ravaged Waverley TBS's warehouse and offices in Hertfordshire, the group has returned to a nearby site called G-Park.

 

Warehouse staff at the Buncefield depot have been working at the site for the last month and office workers moved in this week.

 

Keith Marley, Waverley's general operations manager for the south, said it had been a "busy few months, but we're delighted with our new home".

 

Waverley's original site at Punchbowl Park remains unusable for the time being and the company says no decision has been made with regard to a return to the premises.
