Willie Crawshay, formerly sales managing director - regions at Scottish & Newcastle UK (S&NUK), has been appointed managing director of Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises.

Crawshay's move comes after the group's former head, Jeremy Blood, was appointed managing director of S&NUK as part of a senior management restructuring announced last month by S&N chief executive John Dunsmore.

Blood said: "Having successfully led S&N UK's regional on -trade business for the last three years, Willie is well placed to continue the development of the successful S&NPE business model."

Crawshay will take up his new responsibilities immediately.

Prior to his most recent role at S&NPE, Crawshay was general manager at Bulmers' plant in Hereford and he previously held a number of senior managerial posts in both sales and marketing with S&N.
