Brewer, the Saint Brewing Company, has also invested in new glassware to back the draught drive.

The branded glasses are narrow and tall to help preserve the head and carbonation of the 4.6% ABV lager, said marketing director Gemma Copping.

“Saint launched in bottle last December and with growing demand for premium British lagers from drinkers, launching Saint on draught is a natural next step which taps into this consumer trend,” she said.

“Saint has had an incredibly exciting first year and we will be building on this as we head into year two.”

The first draught stockist is The Distillers pub in East London, where it was launched last week, before rolling out across London.
