Chairman of judges and Beer & Cider Marketing Awards co-founder Pete Brown said: “The landscape of beer and cider marketing is changing rapidly. What was once best practice no longer is.

“When you see all the entries together – from multinational brewing companies and giant cider brands, through regional breweries to microbrewers and small scale cideries – all the judges learned a hell of a lot and we can’t wait to share this learning and insight at the awards evening and afterwards.”

Judge and Morning Advertiser food and drink reporter James Beeson said: “The standard of entries for this year’s awards was particularly high.

“We had an excellent mix of entries from smaller, artisanal brands and larger beer and cider producers.

“It was especially pleasing to see many of the entrants putting forward submissions for multiple categories, and to see a strong representation from cider in the first year that producers could enter.”
