Blood donors rewarded with beer
Blood donors will be rewarded with beer in a PintForAPint scheme from Dark Star Brewing.
The Sussex brewer has launched the reward system to coincide with NHS blood donation week June 8-14.
The campaign will reward donors with a free pint of beer from its brewery shop in Partridge Green.
James Cuthbertson, director at Dark Star, said: “Several of our team are regular blood donors, so we thought we’d mark NHS Blood Donation Week with an event to raise awareness for what is of course a very serious campaign.
“With stocks of blood low, you never know when you might need some to save your life, so we’re urging people to give blood and are very happy to reward their efforts with a pint – after they’ve had their cup of tea and biscuit of course.”
