Carlsberg has launched a live sports support package, Premier Sports Club, aimed at helping licensees take advantage of the upcoming Premier League season and England World Cup qualifiers.

Membership of club gives on-trade customers access to a range of support tools and branded promotional content for key sports events – including Premier League and England football matches – across the season, which aims to drive footfall and rate of sale for pubs.

Members gain access to:

  • Premier League branded point of sale including bar runners to help pubs, bars and venues stand out from the crowd
  • Monthly up-to-date fixtures posters and take-away credit card size fixtures lists
  • Promotional posters for England matches, starting in September with World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine
  • Support through a dedicated customer helpline
  • Access to Carlsberg UK’s We Deliver More service where customers can order POS and product

David Scott, director of brands & insight at Carlsberg UK, said: "The Premier League season is almost upon us and Carlsberg, through its official beer partner status with the Premier League and links with football at all levels from grass roots to professional, is uniquely placed to help on-trade customers take advantage of the opportunities football presents.

"Members of Premier Sports Club can showcase themselves as the place to enjoy live sport and gain access to Carlsberg UK’s expertise in promoting the beautiful game to their customers. It’s a package that brings football to life fixture-by-fixture and ultimately will drive valuable footfall into businesses."

Last month Carlsberg launched the ‘Time to Take Your Seats’ promotion offering drinkers the chance to win Premier League tickets.
