Qcumber, the soft drink made from natural cucumber essence and sparkling spring water, has received increased investment, a makeover and a new bottle size to celebrate its first year in the trade.

Minor enhancements to the all-natural formulation will give Qcumber an improved taste, while alongside the existing 750ml glass bottle, a new 330ml clear bottle size with enhanced graphics will be available to appeal to pubs and bars preferring single-serve sizes.

Qcumber founder Graham Carr-Smith said: "Qcumber is made from 100% natural ingredients and is free from artificial sweeteners, colours, preservatives and flavourings, and contains around a quarter of a cucumber per 750ml bottle.

"It’s wonderful as a soft drink in its own right and is also great used as a mixer with gin or vodka, or even as a cocktail ingredient."

Qcumber has seen sales out-strip all forecasts since its launch and was recently named ‘Best Drinks Category Product Innovation’ and ‘Outstanding New Product Innovation’ at food and drink event IFE13.
