The PMA and industry research firm M&C Allegra have partnered with SIBA – the Society of Independent Brewers - to quiz licensees on their attitudes and preferences towards British beer

The country’s beer industry is thriving with hundreds of new brewers starting up every year and consumer interest in the provenance and quality of beer higher than ever.

The research aims to understand publican’s stocking decisions, their view on craft and local beer and customers’ beer preferences.

All participants will receive a summary of the key findings and will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two pairs of complimentary tickets to attend the Great British Pub Awards – run by the PMA - to be held in London on 5 October 2016.

The GBPA’s celebrate the best pubs in the sector and recognise top operators at an exciting awards night.

The survey is part of a wider piece of consumer research being conducted for SIBA which examines attitudes to beer provenance, ingredients and what makes people drink what they drink.

The online surveys with more than 1,000 consumers and pub licensees will provide valuable insights and business development actions to support the brewing industry.
