Tiny Rebel releases Christmas ale with Goldie Lookin’ Chain
GLC members will have the honour of pouring the first pint at the Tiny Rebel site on Wednesday (16 November), in Newport.
The new product will be part of a limited release in cask sold in pubs as well as Tiny Rebel sites around Cardiff and Newport.
The beer contains extra pale malts to create a light consistency resembling that of snow, meanwhile the blend of British and New Zealand hops give the drink a fruity flavour and medium bitterness.
Christmas cheer
A music video has been released to celebrate the launch of the new product with GLC members, Eggsy, Rhys and Adam, visiting the brewery.
Tiny Rebel Brewery co-founder Gazz Williams said: “Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without cheesy songs and pun-based seasonal beers, so we created both!”
Tiny Rebel co-founder Brad Cummings said: “It was great to work with the guys from GLC again after the success of ‘Goldie Lookin’ Ale’ in 2013 and we think people are going to love ‘You Snows It’ just as much.
“Enthusiasm is such that we have already pre-sold all the casks meaning the best chance people have to enjoy it is to head down to our Tiny Rebel bars.”
New year, new ventures
Cummings also added that the company will begin production from its new expanded site in Rogerstone, near Newport, Monmouthshire, next year, which will enable it to brew more limited-edition beers.
He added: “Hopefully we can tap into some more Welsh-musical talent with other collaborations.”
