Minimum pricing must be in alcohol strategy

What Philip Davies needs to understand is that its not young people coming into town with the "intention" of getting blathered, its the fact that they are already blathered on cheap booze from the supermarkets before they even leave home.
Minimum pricing will have almost no effect on pub prices as they are already well above the minimum price that has been recommended.

Dr Sarah Wollaston MP should read the alchol mortality statistics produced by the NHS Information Centre. they state that alcohol-related deaths for 2009/10 were 6,584 - not "22,00" as she stated!

"If a jumbo jet fully laden with passengers crashed over Britain every fortnight, drastic action would be taken, and that is what we are talking about" - Wollaston.

Yes, imagine sitting outside a pub having a nice binge drinking session and jumbo comes crashing down on your head. Or trying to binge drink on an a jumbo and having your session cut short by hitting a pub. I would definitely want the government to take action if it interferes with my binge drinking or any other activity that the government still allows me to do.
