PMA Powersaver: Switch and save on your utility bills

my advice is no matter which company you use go for a fixed price contract ... as echoed my energy experts here:

RE: PMA Powersaver: Switch and save on your utility bills

We switched about two years ago after finding a really good price on one of the business energy comparison websites. When we setting up the transfer we offered an even better deal if we switched both gas and electric which we accepted.
At the end of the year’s contract we had the usual inflation busting rate increase for the following year. An afternoon on the business energy comparisons websites I found a deal for little more than we had been paying. When we phoned our existing supplier to tell them we would not be renewing they offered to match the price we had found and fix it for two years!
It is a pain to have to keep watching prices and spending time every renewal looking for the best deal especially when the current supplier is likely to match it. But it is well worth the effort.
