Mitchells & Butlers’ Toby Carvery brand has stopped its week-day breakfast trade at 40 sites.

Breakfast: Still available at 101 sites every day

Breakfast will still be sold between Friday and Sunday, while the remaining 101 sites will continue to serve seven days a week.

There is no change to the menu and customers can still enjoy a self-serve carvery-deck breakfast for £4.95. Other options, such as a bacon or sausage & egg breakfast muffin, are cheaper at £2.95.

“Overall, breakfast can be a busy trading time, often depending on the location of a business,” said a spokesman. “In these 40 sites
we believe it is beneficial that we build our weekend breakfast trade first, to establish the offer in the various locations.

“Breakfast remains a key part of the Toby offer, and represents another opportunity to attract new and existing customers into
our businesses.”
