Ambers Taverns, the North West-based managed pub operator, has secured an extra £6m in funding.
The Preston-based chain is reportedly planning to use the money to double the size of its estate in the next four years.
The group, which is backed by Acuity Capital, has increased its credit facility with Lloyds TSB from £14m to £20m. The 56-strong group, which was founded in 2005, is planning on adding 15 premises a year.
Clive Preston, chairman of the company, told thebusinessdesk.com: "This further funding will allow us to drive towards our goal.
Amber, which is headed by former Honeycombe Leisure directors James Baer and Bryan Wardman, recently acquired two pubs.
It acquired the freehold pub Ye Old Bookmaker in Redcar, Teesside, off an asking price of £250,000. Fleurets handled the sale.
The firm also bought the freehold of the Pullman in Blyth, Northumberland, last month. Christie & Co handled the sale.
The firm saw turnover nearly double from £7.02m to £13.93m for the year to 31 January 2010. Pre-tax profit jumped from £167,121 in 2009 to £1.09m in the most recent year.
