The academy will provide accredited, pre-employment training in the licensed hospitality industry and work experience for unemployed people who are motivated and ready to work.

The scheme covers a range of jobs in the industry, including bar, catering and supervisory roles. Eligible trainees may qualify for Apprenticeship funding too.

BII is working with partners, including Kensington and Chelsea College, to develop training and work experience opportunities leading to a guaranteed job interview for suitable local people.

For further information about the event, or to attend please contact Claire Williamson, BII, on email: clairew@bii.org or phone 01276 417823 by Tuesday 7 February 2012.
