The high-profile venue is the 14th late-night business to join the Association since its merger with the Bar, Entertainment and Dance Association in May 2012.

Fabric was established in 1999, and is operated by co-founders Keith Reilly and Cameron Leslie.

Leslie said: “Although Fabric has always been a proudly independent nightclub by joining the ALMR we are giving ourselves the best possible insight and support to respond to the rapidly changing landscape of the nightlife economy and the significant challenges we face as a consequence.”

ALMR chief executive Nick Bish said: “It is fantastic that a clubbing institution like Fabric gets what ALMR is about and understands that we are best placed as a voice for the late night sector.”
