The former director of pub and leisure at the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) Martin Rawlings has joined John Gaunt & Partners as a consultant.

Rawlings, joins the solicitor as a consultant to advise on topical licensing issues and  the Late Night Levy and Early Morning Restriction Orders.

Rawlings left the BBPA at the end of last year after a restructure.

John Gaunt said: “We regard this as a key strategic appointment for the Practice, particularly at a time when we are starting to see early signs of consultation on the possible adoption of late night levies and early morning restriction orders.

"We are absolutely delighted that Martin has agreed to come on board with us at this critical time and we look forward to having him work with us, going forward”.
