The Licensed Trade Charity’s (LTC) black tie boxing event raised £13,457 to help provide support to children of those working in the trade.

Licensed Trade Charity annual boxing  event raises £13,457

The event, which took place on Tuesday 27 November at the Chiswell Street Brewery,  has run for last 54 years.

The LTC helps many youngsters with educational support, housing and grants to cover the cost of living when times are tough. The charity also runs a centre for youngsters with Autism, and provides the life skills and education to help them get a job.

Shepherd Neame were the main sponsor of this trade charity event and provided the Spitfire and Asahi drinks reception.  Giles Hilton, Head of Free-On Sales said: “It was great to see suppliers and pub companies at the event this evening supporting our own trade charity, particularly in a difficult trading environment”.
