Entrepreneur David Elphick has reopened the Jongleurs site in Nottingham.

Elphick and business partner Jez King set up Momo Leisure to run the club in a Grade II-listed building on the city's Thurland Street.

A new VIP zone is being added to the downstairs area and the pair are hoping to buy next door to create a three-room entertainment venue.

Elphick is currently head of training at licensing lawyers Poppleston Allen, which he will continue on a part-time basis.

He has bought the rights to open Jongluers sites in Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and Cambridge.
