Orchid Lottery: rewarding staff

All 6,500 at Orchid will be entered into a monthly lottery draw to win prizes including hot air ballooning, powerboat racing, and a fashion makeover and with a top celebrity stylist.

the monthly draw will be made by Orchid chief executive Rufus Hall and is another example of Orchid's desire to incentivise and reward staff.

Orchid was named one of the Sunday Times Top 25 Big Companies to Work For 2010 and also recently announced each member of staff would receive a drinks voucher and card signed by the board on their birthday.

A dedicated website will feature full details of the monthly winners and photos from every prize winner's experience.

"Our employees work hard to ensure that our pubs, bars and restaurants are the best in the business, and it's important that we celebrate their commitment to Orchid," said Hall.

"The monthly lottery draw is one more way for us to recognise and motivate our employees, and will generate a great deal of interest and excitement.

"There are some amazing prizes up for grabs, offering the winners once-in-a-lifetime experiences."
