Channel 5 is seeking ‘out of shape’ Essex licensees for a new show which will see people from various professions take on extreme physical challenges across the globe.

'Going The Distance’ is due to start filming on 4 March and Channel 5 is now casting for publicans who may be interested in appearing in the first episode of the show.

Licensees will have to take part in a 12-week fitness programme to prepare themselves ahead of the challenge which will take place in a mystery location.

Any landlords, lessees/tenants or pub managers in Essex who are keen to lose weight are invited to put their name forward for casting.
