The Publican’s Morning Advertiser is relaunching the Eye on the Trade initiative, which aims to fight the cases of those licensees who are swindled or ripped off by rogue traders.

The PMA wants to know if you have been scammed

We want to fight your case and unveil those bad operators trying take your cash under false pretences.

Scams we’ll cover include companies demanding money for entry in a pub guide; firms selling ad space in publications claiming to be backed by the emergency services; aggressive selling practices; and those who send unordered products to the pub and then demand payment to bogus business-rating companies.

Or maybe you have paid money up-front to a rogue recruitment company, which promises you a placement in a pub that has never materialised.
