Richard Kershaw named chairman for BBPA north-west

Richard Kershaw, chief executive of Manchester family brewer Joseph Holt, has taken on the role of chairman at the British Beer and Pub Association’s North-West branch.

Richard Kershaw: the new BBPA north-west chairman

He takes over from Richard Horrell from Marston’s Inns and Taverns who had held the post for the last two years.

Kershaw said: “I am delighted to take over as chairman of the North West BBPA. The region contains a number of independent family breweries and both small and large pub companies who between them provide a terrific choice of British beers and attractive pubs.”
