Wellington Pub Company, the c.800-strong free-of-tie leased pub operator, has placed 30 sites on the market to let on new leases.

Fleurets has been appointed to market the pubs, most of which are being offered at nil premium with annual rents ranging from £17,000 to £50,000.

Fleurets director Bob Whittle said: “These traditional pubs are available in a variety of national locations and offer excellent business opportunities at modest cost.

“All pubs are available on free-of-tie terms ranging from 15 to 20 years.”

The pubs are in Suffolk, Essex, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Surrey, West Midlands, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Gwent, Somerset and Oxfordshire.

Wellington reported a full-year pre-tax profit of £9.6m, against a loss of £5.7m in the previous year, in recently-published results for the year ending 31 March 2011.
