Enterprise Inns has revealed the locations of its 10 initial managed sites, which includes at least two “semi-managed” pubs.

The pub company said the Dovecote in Chingford, the Eight Bells in Failsworth, the Handsworth Inn in Sheffield, the Waterhouse in Ashton-under-Lyne, the White Lion in Amersham, the Blind Pig in Eccles and the Crafty Pig in Manchester are now all part of its managed estate.

The Publican's Morning Advertiser had already revealed that the Sir John Balcombe in Marylebone, the Duchess of Cambridge in Hammersmith and St James of Bermondsey were going to be part of its managed division.

Enterprise said the Blind Pig and the Crafty Pig, which opened last week, are “semi-managed” sites.

A spokesman said this means that “Enterprise owns and creates the environment and the retail proposition, while Stuart Kirkham acts as consultant and manager, bringing with him a team of staff to run the venue.”
