Enterprise Inns has announced the dates and venues for its enterpriselive 2017 trade shows.

The six events will give existing and prospective licensees the opportunity to meet suppliers and members of the Enterprise team, gain business advice and take advantage of exclusive deals.

More than 4,000 visitors attended the shows earlier this year, with almost 50% of Enterprise leased and tenanted pubs represented, up from 41% the previous year. The events also attracted in excess of 160 exhibiting suppliers.

Venues announced

The 2017 programme will return to Manchester’s EventCity, Farnborough’s FIVE, Ricoh Arena in Coventry and London Olympia. The Bristol showcase will move to the newly refurbished Ashton Gate Stadium, home of Bristol City FC. The enterpriselive 2017 roadshow will finish at Leeds United FC’s Elland Road stadium. The full timetable is:

  • 25 April, Bristol, Ashton Gate Stadium
  • 27 April, Farnborough, FIVE, Hampshire
  • 3 May, Coventry, Ricoh Arena
  • 9 May, Manchester, EventCity
  • 16 May, London, Olympia (national show)
  • 18 May, Leeds, Elland Road stadium

New initiatives

Enterprise sales and marketing director James Armitage said: “After such fantastic shows in 2016, the bar’s been set really high. Nevertheless, we’re planning 2017 to be even bigger and better.

“As in the previous years, we will be unveiling a number of new initiatives and we’ve scheduled the shows in April and May so publicans can take full advantage of exclusive deals ahead of the busy summer trading period. The deals will only be available to publicans attending enterpriselive.”

Back by popular demand is Enterprise’s voucher book, offering publicans savings worth thousands of pounds. These will be distributed to publicans in advance of the shows.

Armitage added: “As well as encouraging publicans and prospective publicans to come along, we are urging suppliers to book their stands as soon as possible because in the past couple of years, they have completely sold out.”

New suppliers

More than 25 new suppliers, including Freedom Brewery, Booker Makro and Pub Stuff, made their enterpriselive debuts in 2016.

New to this year’s show was a main stage that featured live music and a line-up of expert speakers offering advice in social media marketing, making the most of televised sport and opportunities and regulations around gaming technology.

In addition, Enterprise revealed several new initiatives. These included a partnership with beer sommelier Annabel Smith as part of her work with the national campaign There’s A Beer For That, and the launch of emarket, a directory of more than 40 recommended suppliers of non-drinks-related essentials at negotiated rates, designed to save publicans time and money.

Further trade features and the names of suppliers attending will be announced as the events approach.
