The pubco is offering a variety of discounted packages through Retail Impact Solutions, ranging from bronze to premium, which will offer website design, maintenance and management for the first year.
The aim is to help licensees “drive trade through a strong online presence”.
The company has also produced a toolkit for licensees outlining all the digital support services on offer, including details of how to set up a Wi-Fi network within a pub for guests, and access to further digital training – such as a marketing through social media course.
‘Ease licensees’ workloads’
Greene King Pub Partners managing director Clive Chesser said he hoped the scheme would help the company’s licensees “embrace the digital world”.
“By launching a new website service, the aim is to ease licensees’ workloads by taking the managing of online communications away from them,” he said.
“We know people increasingly look online for which pubs to spend their money at and we want to take away any licensees’ worries they may be falling behind their competitors by not having a website that best shows off their business.
“This is part of a wider strategy of providing the right digital solutions for licensees, including the further development of our online ordering that can now be accessed from one platform.”
