Hartlepool brewer and operator Camerons buys Whitby site
The Pier Inn at Whitby, which takes the managed division to 12 pubs, features seven letting rooms.
Camerons recently announced the acquisition of the Dun Cow in Sunderland, which opens in early October.
Camerons pub estates and operations director Joe Smith said: “We are delighted with the addition of the Pier Inn to our group. Camerons has long been associated with the beautiful seaside town of Whitby and our Strongarm cask ale is served in many of the pubs locally.”
Chris Soley, director and general manager at Camerons Brewery, said: “The acquisition of this site further demonstrates our commitment to growing an exciting and vibrant pub estate and we look forward to developing this site further.”
