National Pubwatch conference will unveil exclusive research on the effectiveness of pubwatches
The annual conference for National Pubwatch will see the unveiling of exclusive research showing the full impact that pubwatches have on the local area.

Dr Alex Kenyon from Leeds Metropolitan University will present the findings on 12 March at the in Birmingham at the event.

Other speakers include Association of Chief Police Officer chief constable Adrian Lee of Northants Police, Shepherd Neame chief executive Jonathan Neame - all of whoom will talk about the impact of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act and the Government’s alcohol strategy.

National Pubwatch will also present an innovative conference workshop in Bar Risa on Broad Street to see how operators manage customers in a busy venue.

A new award in memory of NPW founder Malcolm Eidmans who died at the end of last year will be presented to a member of police staff who has made an outstanding contribution to pubwatch.
