The New World Trading Company (NWTC) has announced a new Botanist site in Didsbury, Greater Manchester.

The 4,500sq ft former JD Wetherspoon site, the Milson Rhodes, will be transformed into the NWTC venue, and will open in spring 2017.

It is the 12th venue under the Botanist brand and will offer botanical cocktails, a range of world and craft beers as well as the NWTC brews, and a selection of gins.

The food offer will include deli, rotisserie and barbecue options, and live music will be hosted daily as well as evening gigs and Sunday afternoon sessions.

NWTC chief executive Chris Hill said: “We are incredibly excited to bring the Botanist concept to Didsbury.

"We’ve had great success since our first opening in Alderley Edge back in 2012 and look forward to continuing this in our new location.”
