Punch wine club
Punch Taverns has launched a new wine club following feedback from partner forums.

The Wine of the Month scheme, unveiled at the pub company’s roadshows which ran throughout October, gives Punch licensees the chance to sell a good quality wine at an attractive price each month.

More than 300 partners have signed up to the initiative, which gives registered partners a POS kit, including tent cards, badges, menu caps and staff training cards to maximise sales.

“We wanted to launch the club at the Roadshows as this is a prime opportunity for our partners to trial new products and brands and are open to new business ideas that can help grow their business,” John Coe, trade marketing manager at Punch Taverns said.

“We have received a fantastic response from our Partners. I think they like the fact that it gives them a platform to buy wines at a competitive price with no commitment and to buy each month ultimately supports the sell-through of wine in their pubs. In fact, one customer has likened the club to our Finest Cask scheme, which offers Punch Partners access to a selection of cask ales every six to eight weeks.”
