In March Westons will re-release its Westons’ Twist Raspberry (4% ABV) cider followed later in the year by two more products.
Roger Jackson, Westons’ commercial director, said that flavoured ciders are the ‘stars of the category’ and that consumer demand for high quality, premium ciders is increasing.
Westons Twist is traditionally crafted using locally-sourced Herefordshire cider fruit blended with raspberry juice and available nationally via distributors. Pump clips and branded glassware will support the re-launch.
