Stonegate Pub Company brand Walkabout has announced its new menu, which taps into the company’s Australian heritage and is due to hit sites later this month (25 July).

New dishes include a host of sharing snacks such as Tin Can Mac 'n' Cheese, Sweetcorn Fritters with Maple Bacon, and Double Chicken Wings.

Alongside these options, diners can also choose from a range of burgers including a giant Waffle Stack to the Roo Burger, whereas its Parmi menu gives an Aussie twist on an Italian classic.

Cocktail selection

Moving on to the drinks menu, guests can enjoy a selection of FreakShakes, craft beers and Tinnies, Australian wines and classic cocktails.

When it comes to cocktails, Walkabout has taken twists on classics such as Cherry Pop, a blend of apple and cherry Sourz, grenadine, apple juice and passion fruit purée, topped with a cherry.

Alternatively, customers could try The Tasmanian Devil – with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, grenadine, cranberry juice and apple juice, topped with a chilli to fire up the taste buds.

Aussie heritage

Walkabout head of marketing Vince Williams outlined how the story behind the brand has been used to promote the new menu.

He said: “Using our Aussie heritage and expertise to inform and inspire every part of our offering, we have spent a lot of time refining and updating our food and drink menus.

“Truly reflecting the Australian spirit of socialising, we want to make sure our customers have a great time whenever they visit – whether that’s with mates, loved ones or for a quick drink on their own.

“With more dishes and drinks to choose from than ever before, there’s always something new and different to discover.”
