Peroni Nastro Azzuro is celebrating recruiting its 5,000th member to its loyalty scheme, Club Peroni.

The Peldon Rose in Peldon, Essex has been awarded 750 puntos (Italian for point) to bank or exchange as they like as part of the scheme.

As part of the programme, puntos are printed on each on-trade case of Peroni. Participating stockists can collect the puntos, which can be exchanged for rewards, such as branded glasswear, LCD TVs or a trip to Italy.

Adam Leydon, manager at the Peldon Rose said: "We plan to exchange the puntos for a number of stylish digital picture frames so that we can promote our additional facilities to our diners in an innovative way.

"I think it's a great scheme and we'll continue to collect the puntos and reap the rewards."
