Jascots, the on-trade specialist wine merchant, has formed a partnership with Champagne Pannier to distribute its range throughout the UK.

The company aims to give Pannier an extra push in the on-trade sector.

Champagnes from the Pannier stable include the award-winning Champagne Pannier E.V. Brut Sélection, which is a blend of 40% Chardonnay and equal parts of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The E.V. refers to ‘extra vieillissement’ as the champagne is aged for three and a half years before its release. The use of 25% reserve wines assures consistency.

Pannier’s museum stock will also be open to Jascots starting with a recently released 1998 Blancs de Noirs in Magnum format.
Terence Kenny, Pannier’s export director, selected Jascots for “the professionalism and wine knowledge of the Jascots team being equal only to the integrity and sound management of its principals”.
Jascots managing director John Charnock added, “We’re really pleased to have formed a partnership with Champagne Pannier. Jascots’ strength is the on-trade, and we are the best in field at what we do,”
