Wine at off licence prices is promised by wine bar operator Jamies in its outlets from this autumn.

However, customers hoping to find a £3.99 Cabernet Sauvignon will be disappointed. The "Jamies Wine Shop" offer will be restricted to three or four fine wines at prices ranging from £40 to £100.

The 14th Jamies outlet opens on Ludgate Hill, opposite St Paul's Cathedral, on September 19.
