The Anchor & Hope has retained its position as London’s Best Bar/Pub Food in the new Harden’s Restaurant Guide.

Anchro & Hope: highly regarded

The Waterloo pub retained its top position in the annual survey of diners, which is conducted in collaboration with Remy Marti to find the most popular restaurants in the capital in a number of categories.

The pub is run by Rob Shaw, Jonathan Jones and Michael Belben.

In second place was the Michelin-starred Harwood Arms in Fulham and in third the Bull & Last in Highgate.
The Canton Arms, run by former Anchor & Hope staff was in fourth.

Pub company Cubbitt House had three sites in the top ten, the Orange in Pimlico in fifth place, the Thomas Cubitt in eight and the Pantechnicon in tenth place.
