Toby Carvery is trialling roast lamb at 16 pubs across the south on Sundays.

Roast lamb will replace pork at the Mitchells & Butlers (M&B) sites until further notice, following a successful 12-week test.

Lamb was added to the four-deck carveries at 15 Midlands Tobys as a result of customer feedback on the brand's Facebook page. M&B bosses will assess demand with a national roll-out possible across all 134 sites.

Mashed potato will also be available at the selected venues in the south every day as a further trial.
