Brioche Pasquier has launched a new range of traditional French tartelettes to the UK foodservice market.

The range consists of two products, Tatelette aux Pommes and Tartelerre au Citron, respectively made with fresh apple and citron fruits.

Each variant comes frozen in packs of 10 and needs to be defrosted for four hours at room temperature before serving.

They can be kept refrigerated for 48 hours after defrosting.

Meat the competition

Debbie & Andrews has launched a new range of caramelised onion pork sausages.

The sausages, which are wheat, gluten and dairy free, are made with select pork cuts, balsamic red onions and muscavado sugar and retail in packs of six.

A spokesperson for the company said: “[The product] sticks to the simple principles of using only the best British pork, keeping the flavour natural and real by using only first class ingredients.

“The succulent, savoury pork is perfectly balanced by the red onion and when the sausages are cooked both are transformed again into a caramelised treat. For those with food allergies, there are no problems on the wheat, gluten and dairy front – it is all about indulging, worry free.”

Pizza portfolio

Swedish pizza oven manufacturer Sveba Dahlen has launched a new pizza deck over, the P400.

The model, which will be distributed in the UK by Jestic Foodservice Equipment, comes with a choice of one, two or three pizza decks and features double tempered glass designed to increase efficience.

Michael Eyre, product director at Jestic Foodservice Equipment, said: “The new Sveba Dahlen P400 takes all of the benefits of the larger ovens in the range and combines them with a compact footprint.

“The oven’s unique design creates a consistent temperature across the chamber, providing uniform colour and a delicious, authentic taste.”

Constructed using stainless steel, each deck can be independently controlled via a digital display which allows operators to select start times, operating temperatures or initiate the product’s eco mode which reduces energy consumption during quieter services.
