Top 50 Gastropubs: 2015's top ten
In January this year, Stephen Harris's Kent pub the Sportsman was awarded the top spot for its superb yet simple cuisine and dedication to ultra local cooking. Josh Eggleton's Somerset pub the Pony & Trap and James Mackenzie's Yorkshire site the Pipe & Glass Inn came respectively second and third.
With competition set to be equally fierce this year, will Harris retain the top spot in 2016? Which plucky newcomers will take their first step onto the list?
